There are no shortcuts taken in manufacturing these reels. Every one is built on a Penn Full Metal Body, machined and anodized 1-piece frame equipped with a forged and machined spool and side-plates to prevent flex under duress, even when using heavy braid. The machine-cut stainless steel main and pinion gears and drag cam ensure ultimate integrity and strength. With four aircraft-grade, shielded stainless steel ball bearings you can expect smooth performance at every turn. The Push-To-Turn adjustable pre-set eliminates confusion (and lost fish) during the heat of battle; the exclusive Dura-Drag system functions flawlessly through a wide range of settings.
