Shipping:
We strive to fill orders as quickly as possible. However sometimes an item is not in stock. We will ship all orders complete unless we are told to do otherwise. Customers that request orders to be shipped incomplete will incur additional shipping charges when the second part of there order is shipped.
All boats, motors and oversize or weight items that cannot be shipped via normal carriers (UPS or USPS) will be shipped freight collect unless other arrangements are made. Please contact us for more information on this.
Orders of more than $200 will ship free.
Exceptions to free shipping are "freight" items as defined above and over size, weight charges as listed below.
All one piece fishing rods longer than 6' or rods with sections longer than 6' will incur a $6 oversize shipping charge. Other items may have additional shipping as well. This will be listed on the item page.
Return Policy:
Due to the nature of our online site, and the products listed, we “Helmsmen Marine, Inc.” have a strict NO RETURN policy for boats, motors, custom items, electronics, downloaded items, shipping costs, and special orders.
Store Credit is available for items not covered under our “NO RETURN POLICY”. Items not covered under our “NO RETURN POLICY” that are returned will be subject to a 20% restocking fee and must be in original packaging with all materials present. Items returned incomplete will not be given credit and will be returned at original purchaser’s expense.
Damaged or Defective items:
We do our best to check each item prior to shipping and pack each item carefully to avoid shipping damage.
Please open and check your packages for shipping damage as soon as you receive them. If the package has obvious damage decline to accept it and contact us as soon as possible.
If you find shipping damage or an item is defective please contact us as soon as possible.
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to notify us of a defective item. After 30 days all claims for defective items will be handled by that items manufacturer. Please contact us if you need assistance with contacting the manufacture. We will happily provide contact information to you.
